Genetic Testing & Counseling

The Genetic Counseling Program, which includes risk assessment, testing and counseling, is in collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). DFCI genetic counselors are available to provide consultation to appropriate patients, along with input from an NH Oncology-Hematology physician. All cases are reviewed by the team at DFCI's Cancer Risk & Prevention Program.

Clinical Trials

As a patient, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial or study which may include test treatments for new cancer drugs, approaches to surgery or radiation therapy, new combinations of treatments or other therapies.

Community Education & Screening

Support groups and educational programs provide a comfortable, safe environment to share feelings and thoughts on cancer-related issues. Participants can get useful information about community services and borrow print, video and audio materials available for loan. Lymphedema screening and treatment is also available.
